We at SSD&G feel fortunate to have so many talented and qualified staff members available to work with your children. Our staff includes teachers with undergraduate and master’s degrees in education and related fields. A large portion of our instructors and coaches are currently pursuing degrees at IUP and find time in their busy schedules to be here and work with your children!
Sharon Antalis
Owner and Director
Sharon has over 60 years experience in dance. She established SSD&G in 1977 and still teaches class five days per week.
Being a former elementary teacher, Sharon has that special touch with toddlers and preschoolers and has developed a program that reaches the heart of a child and creates a desire to learn and love music and dance!
Alyssa Phillips
Assistant Director
Alyssa has grown up at the studio and has continued to assume responsibilities of the business.
She is a third grade teacher but still finds plenty of time to inspire our dancers to become better and stronger! She brings over 30 years of experience to the studio.
Lori Creps
Head Gymnastics Coach
Lori is a former competitive gymnast, so she understands the basic concepts and skills necessary for the gymnast to excel in the sport. She has coached both competitive and recreational gymnastics since 1984.
She initiated our gymnastics program in 1995 and has developed a recreational program that focuses on positive coaching in a safe and nurturing environment. Her gymnasts have fun and develop progressive skills that allow them to succeed at all levels.
Ronda Richards
Head Gymnastics Coach
Ronda has been teaching tumbling since 1990 and has developed a strong Cheernastics program for our gym.
In addition to regular gymnastics, she has been a cheerleading sponsor and advisor. She is responsible for establishing successful programs for squads, teams and all stars.
