Dress Code
SSD&G has high standards for safety and professionalism, so we have the following requirements for our dress code. If you have any questions, please call the studio.General Rules
- Denim and skirts are not permitted
- Hair must be secured and out of the face
- No chewing gum
Tap
- Tan tap shoes (all classes)
- Leotard
- Tights
Hip-Hop
- Relaxed clothing
- Legs must be covered (tights or leggings)
- Black hip hop shoes
Jazz
- White ballet slippers (younger students 3-8 years of age – if in doubt, call for info)
- Black jazz shoes (older students 9-18, if in doubt, call for info)
- Leotards
- Tights
Gymnastics
- Leotards (no tights)
- Shorts or leggings with a tank or t-shirt
- Denim and skirts are not permitted
- Socks or bare feet are appropriate
- No shoes
- Hair must be secured and out of the face
- No chewing gum
Ballet
- White ballet slippers (younger students 3-8 years of age - if in doubt, call for info)
- Pink ballet slippers (dance lines only)
- Leotards
- Tights
- Shirts and sweatpants – not permitted
- No denim
